| Assessor's Books examined, tax year 1882 | The State of Alabama } Commissioners Court Chilton County } Regular Term July ___ 1882. Present and presiding H. J. Callen Judge of Probate, J. J. Honeycutt, B. Harris, R. C. Lenoir and Kenyon Wells, Commissioners. This being the time fixed by law to Examine the Assessor's Books of assessments for the Tax year A.D. 1882. And now appearing before the Court William A. Smith, the Tax Assessor of said County, and presents to the Court his Books of assessments of Personal and Real property of said County for the Tax year 1882. And thereupon the Court proceeded to Examine the same and it appearing to the Court from the inspection of said Books and from other good and sufficient proof adduced to the Court that said Book of assessments is correct as the same stands stated and as reported by the Assessor. It is therefore ordered by the Court that the said Books of assessments be and the same is hereby received as correct as to all the assessments therein contained. J. J. Honeycutt R. C. Lenoir K.
