Regular Term April 2nd 1883	State of Alabama, Chilton County. Commissioners Court Regular Term April 2nd 1883. Present and presiding H. J. Callen, Judge of Probate, K. Wells, R. C. Lenoir, J. J. Honeycutt and Buckner Harris, Commissioners. The Court then proceeded to transact such business as was brought before it when the following orders were made and entered in the premises.
Lewis Burnett, J. G. Lepard, David Littlefield, Jake Walker, Matilda Carlile — $5.00 each	It is ordered by the Court that Lewis Burnett, J. G. Lepard, David Littlefield, Jake Walker and Matilda Carlile be and they are hereby allowed their warrant on the County Treasurer for the sum of Five Dollars each for their support 2nd quarter 1883.
James Edwards, Mary Lemaster, Walter Jones, Winney Culp, Margaret Murphy, C. M. Mills, Willie O’Neil — $6.00 each	It is ordered by the Court that James Edwards, Mary Lemaster, Walter Jones, Winney Culp, Margaret Murphy, C. M. Mills and Willie O’Neil be and they are hereby allowed their warrant on the County Treasurer for the sum of Six Dollars each for their support 2nd quarter 1883.
John Henley — $18.00	It is ordered by the Court that John Henley be and he is hereby allowed his warrant on the County Treasurer for the sum of Eighteen Dollars for his support 2nd quarter 1883.
Mary Whalen, Mrs. Lee, Nancy Comer, James Andrews, W. B. J. Norris — $9.00 each	It is ordered by the Court that Mary Whalen, Mrs. Lee, Nancy Comer, James Andrews and W. B. J. Norris be and they are hereby allowed their warrant on the County Treasurer for the sum of Nine Dollars each for their support 2nd quarter 1883.
E. & N. Norris; Dock & Billy Armstrong — $15.00	It is ordered by the Court that E. & N. Norris be allowed Fifteen Dollars and Dock and Billy Armstrong allowed Fifteen Dollars by warrant on the County Treasurer for their support 2nd quarter 1883.

Eliza Hall, Wm. Lambert, Monroe Dubose — $12.50 each	It is ordered by the Court that Eliza Hall, Monroe Dubose and Monroe Dubose be and they are hereby allowed their warrant on the County Treasurer for the sum of Twelve 50/100 Dollars each for their support 2nd quarter 1883.
Mrs. Hollifield and Marion — $10.00 each	It is ordered by the Court that Mrs. Hollifield for her son and Joe Marcus be and they are hereby allowed their warrant on the County Treasurer for the sum of Ten Dollars each for their support 2nd quarter 1883.
R. Ehrmann — $3.40	It is ordered by the Court that R. Ehrmann be and he is hereby allowed his warrant on the County Treasurer for the sum of Three 40/100 Dollars for supplies furnished for use of County.
James E. Lowe, Sheriff — $90.18	It is ordered by the Court that James E. Lowe, Sheriff, be and he is hereby allowed his warrant on the County Treasurer for the sum of Ninety and 18/100 Dollars for Ex-officio & Road service and attending Circuit Court and for summoning Special Jury and paying costs & money of escaped County.
H. J. Callen — $72.50	It is ordered by the Court that H. J. Callen, Judge of Probate, be and he is hereby allowed his warrant on the County Treasurer for the sum of Seventy two & 50/100 Dollars for Ex-officio & Road service.
H. J. Callen — $24.00	It is ordered by the Court that H. J. Callen be and he is hereby allowed his warrant on the County Treasurer for the sum of Twenty-four Dollars for superintending the hire of County convicts.
W. M. Wilson — $1.50	It is ordered by the Court that W. M. Wilson be and he is hereby allowed his warrant on the County Treasurer for the sum of One 50/100 Dollars for supper furnished a Jury in the case of State vs. Goodgame.
W. H. Burton — $4.35	It is ordered by the Court that W. H. Burton be and he is hereby allowed his warrant on the County Treasurer for the sum of Four & 35/100 Dollars for washing for prisoners in Jail.

W. D. Brown & Co. — $14.00	It is ordered by the Court that W. D. Brown & Co. be and they are hereby allowed their warrant on the County Treasurer for the sum of fourteen Dollars for stationery furnished County officers.
J. E. Lowe, Sheriff — $20.80	It is ordered by the Court that James E. Lowe, Sheriff, be and he is hereby allowed his warrant on the County Treasurer for the sum of Twenty 80/100 Dollars for returning A. H. Cordrayne to Montgomery County Jail.
G. W. Edwards — $5.00	It is ordered by the Court that G. W. Edwards be and he is hereby allowed his warrant on the County Treasurer for the sum of Five Dollars for painting door of Court House.
H. J. Callen — $8.00	It is ordered by the Court that H. J. Callen, Judge of County Court, be and he is hereby allowed his warrant on the County Treasurer for the sum of Eight Dollars for two cases in the County Court.
H. J. Callen — $8.55	It is ordered by the Court that H. J. Callen Judge of Probate be and he is hereby allowed his warrant on the County Treasurer for the sum of Eight & 55/100 Dollars for 2 days presiding over Commissioners Court and for mail.
L. A. Thornton — $36.00	It is ordered by the Court that L. A. Thornton be and he is hereby allowed his warrant on the County Treasurer for the sum of Thirty Six Dollars for Special Jury in the case of the State vs. R. M. Goodgame.
J. M. Parrish — $3.00	It is ordered by the Court that J. M. Parrish be and he is hereby allowed his warrant on the County Treasurer for the sum of Three Dollars for monies paid out by him for the County.
W. E. Stewart — $7.50	It is ordered by the Court that W. E. Stewart be and he is hereby allowed his warrant on the County Treasurer for the sum of Seven & 50/100 Dollars for medical aid for prisoners in Jail.
W. H. Foshee — $50.00	It is ordered by the Court that W. H. Foshee, Clerk, be and he is hereby allowed his warrant on the County Treasurer for the sum of Fifty Dollars for Ex-officio service.

K. Wells, R. C. Lenoir, J. J. Honeycutt — $3.60 each	It is ordered by the Court that K. Wells, R. C. Lenoir and J. J. Honeycutt be and they are hereby allowed their warrant on the County Treasurer for the sum of Three 60/100 Dollars each for one day’s service and mileage as members of the Court of County Commissioners April Term 1883.
B. Harris — $4.80	It is ordered by the Court that B. Harris be and he is hereby allowed his warrant on the County Treasurer for the sum of Four & 80/100 Dollars for one day’s service as member of Court of County Commissioners April Term 1883.
Safe for use of County Superintendent and County Treasurer	It is ordered by the Court that H. J. Callen and K. Wells be and they are hereby authorized and empowered to purchase a safe for the use of the County Superintendent and County Treasurer, and H. J. Callen is hereby authorized to draw a warrant on the County Treasurer for the price of the same.
Errors and Insolvencies of Tax Collector	And now comes R. M. Honeycutt, Tax Collector of said County, and presents to the Court his list of errors and insolvencies in manner and form as prescribed by law for the tax year 1882. And it appearing from the inspection of said report that R. M. Honeycutt said Tax Collector is entitled to the following credits on the account of errors and insolvencies of poll tax, personal property and real estate as follows: Errors on Poll Tax $40.50; Insolvencies on Poll Tax $503.50; Total $544.00. Errors on Real Estate: State Tax $9.33, County Tax $8.74, Total $18.07. Errors on personal property: State Tax $.30, County Tax $.24, Total $.54. Insolvencies on personal property: State Tax $23.69, County Tax $15.79, Total $44.48. Totals: State Tax $36.22; County Tax $22.25. Judge of Probate, H. J. Callen; Commissioners, Buckner Harris, R. C. Lenoir, J. J. Honeycutt, K. Wells.
