Commissioners Court; Regular Term Nov. 3rd 1884The State of Alabama, Chilton County. Present and presiding H. J. Callen, Judge of Probate, Moses Roberson, B. Harris, R. C. Lenoir and A. Baker Sr Commissioners. The Court then proceeded to business. When the following orders were made and entered in the premises.
John Wells; Olley Zimmerman; $1.50 eachIt is ordered by the Court that John Wells and Olley Zimmerman be and they are hereby allowed their warrant on the County Treasury for the sum of one 50/100 Dollars each for clerks of Election Aug. election 1884.
H J Callen; $14.20It is ordered by the Court that H J Callen be and he is hereby allowed his warrant on the County Treasury for the sum of Fourteen & 20/100 Dollars for money expended by him for use of the County and for wood.
J. H. Chandler; $8.40It is ordered by the Court that J. H. Chandler be and he is hereby allowed his warrant on the County Treasury for the sum of Eight & 40/100 Dollars for lumber furnished for use of the County.
Barrett & Co; $15.35It is ordered by the Court that Barrett & Co be and they are hereby allowed their warrant on the County Treasury for the sum of Fifteen & 35/100 Dollars for Books & Stationery furnished County officers.
W. H. Foshee; $50.00It is ordered by the Court that W. H. Foshee be and he is hereby allowed his warrant on the County Treasury for the sum of Fifty Dollars for Ex officio services as Clerk of the Circuit Court 4th Quarter 1884.
P. C. Dennis; $61.80It is ordered by the Court that P. C. Dennis be and he is hereby allowed his warrant on the County Treasury for the sum of Sixty one & 80/100 Dollars for repairs done on Bridge across Chestnut Creek near Hoopers.

J J Smitherman; $16.00It is ordered by the Court that J T Smitherman Sheriff be and he is hereby allowed his warrant on the County Treasury for the sum of Sixteen Dollars, for 6 days attendance & two days attendance, in the Chancery Court of said County Fall Term 1884.
W H Lawrence; $22.50It is ordered by the Court that W H Lawrence be and he is hereby allowed his warrant on the County Treasury for the sum of Twenty two 50/100 Dollars for subscription to the True, printing Election notices & notices for Tax Collector & Assessor.
W D Brown & Co; $33.80; less $21.30 paid Sept Term; $12.50It is ordered by the Court that W D Brown & Co be and they are hereby allowed their warrant on the County Treasury for the sum of Thirty three & 80/100 Dollars for Stationary furnished for use of County officers.
J M Parish; $108.86It is ordered by the Court that J M Parish County Treasurer, for the sum of One hundred & Eight & 86/100 Dollars, for money paid out by him as County Treasurer for the use of the County.

Mrs Marsh; $11.25It is ordered by the Court that Mrs. Mary Marsh be and she is hereby allowed her warrant on the County Treasury for the sum of Eleven 25/100 Dollars for feeding a Jury in the case of State vs Bensen Fall Term Circuit Court 1884.
Wm Deshazo; $93.00It is ordered by the Court that William Deshazo be and he is hereby allowed his warrant on the County Treasury for the sum of ninety five Dollars for building bridge across Mulberry Creek near Mulberry Creek Church.

Change in the Jamison Clanton RoadWhereas application in writing has been made to the Court for an order to change the Clanton and Jamison Road so as to run on the west side of the Rail Road west of J. L. Hand & Co saw mill. And whereas notice has been given of said proposed change. It is therefore ordered by the Court that L. J. Hand, B. W. Silsby, J. H. Hand, A. J. Atchison, W. D. McMinn, I. N. Langston and John Chandler be and they are hereby appointed a jury of view to view and mark out said proposed change and report to the next term of this Court.
W. E. Stewart; $7.50It is ordered by the Court that Dr W. E. Stewart be and he is hereby allowed his warrant on the County Treasury for the sum of Seven 50/100 Dollars for practice at Jail.
New Road EstablishedWhereas at the August Term of this Court 1884 and order was made and entered in the premises appointing a Jury of view to mark out a new road leading from Sank Collins by the way of John Collins and connecting with the Montevallo road at G. S. Collins and whereas said Jury of view having made their report in writing of their action in the premises stating that they have viewed and marked out said road commencing near Dorminys and running in a western direction intersecting the Montevallo road at or near G. S. Collins. It is therefore ordered by the Court that said Road be established as viewed and marked out by said Jury of view. It is further ordered that G. W. Mims be and he is hereby appointed overseer to open said road and keep the same in repair until his successor shall be appointed.
