| Mills | And whereas it has been shown to the Court that due and legal notice had been given in all respects as required by law. It is therefore ordered that Benjamin Wells, W. D. Scarbrough, J. M. Corderie, Moses Popwell, Elijah Collins, C. A. Woodruff and Robert Wilson Sr be and they are hereby appointed a jury of view to view and mark out said proposed new road in accordance with said application and make their report in writing to the next term of this Court. It is further ordered that the Kingston road leading by the residence of Mrs. Vinson and the Clanton and Verbena road be and the same is hereby discontinued as prayed for in said petition. |
| Change in Jamison Road | Whereas application was made at the November term of this Court 1884 for a change in the Jamison Road known as the Montevallo Road. And whereas L. J. Hand, A. J. Akins, Joseph Chandler, W. D. McMeans, I. N. Langston and J. M. Hand were appointed a jury of view to view and mark out said change. And whereas said jury of view having made their report in writing stating that after being duly sworn they viewed said change as follows, to cross the Railroad about one mile south of the mill of J. | Kill the road from Ike Littletons to Strasburg | Whereas application has been made to the Court for an order to discontinue the road leading from Ike Littletons to Strassburg (Hill Road). Said application has been considered by the Court and the same has been shown to the Court to be of little utility to the public. It is therefore ordered by the Court that said road be and the same is hereby discontinued from Ike Littletons to Strasburg. |
| To establish a new road | Whereas application has been made to the Court for an order to establish a new road leading from Adams Ferry Road at Moses Robersons and to run in a westernly course by way of Wm Barretts and intersecting the Smiths Ferry road about one half mile west of George Mims. And whereas it has been shown to the Court that due and legal notice has been given in all respects of the proposed application. It is therefore ordered by the Court that J. R. Thomas, John Easterling, William Barrett, George Mims, Elijah Easterling, and Elijah Roberson be and they are hereby appointed a jury of view to view and mark out said proposed new road in accordance with said petition and report their action to the next term of this Court. |
